The Journey
At Paul’s Travel, it’s not just about airports and holidays – some of the most important journeys are the smaller, regular trips that make a real difference to people’s week.
A couple of times each week, we transport residents from Tanfield Nursing Home in Hindley over to Ena Mill in Atherton for a change of scenery and a few hours out.
Making The Trip Accessible
Every journey is carefully planned to make sure all passengers are safe and comfortable.
Some residents travel in wheelchairs, while others are supported by carers, so we take our time to ensure:
- Safe and secure wheelchair access using our vehicle ramp
- Comfortable seating for all passengers
- Support getting in and out of the vehicle
- A relaxed, unhurried journey both ways
It’s all about making the trip easy and enjoyable for everyone involved.

With its mix of shops, a café, and plenty of space to sit and chat, it gives residents the chance to enjoy a proper day out – not just a quick trip.
